About Tricia Rainwater

Tricia Rainwater is a mixed Choctaw, Indigiqueer, Multimedia artist who began taking photos at the age of 6. She proudly found her exhibition start at the Lodi Grape and Wine Festival. Tricia grew up splitting her time between a cattle ranch in California with her mother and grandparents and the Navajo reservation in New Mexico with her father. She lives in San Francisco where her art helps her process her early life’s traumas and reach into the memories and traditions of her people.
